Herreshoff America 18 with Trailer & New Outboard. In excellent condition.
“Dovekie” (the littlest Auk!) is a beautiful, well-loved, and cared-for Herreshoff America 18 Catboat in excellent condition. It comes with a Karavan boat trailer in excellent condition and a new in 2025 6hp Tohatsu outboard engine. I am passing this sailboat on only because I have taken possession of a larger sailboat. I have loved sailing and caring for Dovekie.
I took possession of Dovekie in 2018 and kept it under cover until 2022, when I retired and could turn my attentions to renovations, upgrades, and setting it up for sailing on Fundy Bay. It is a beautiful vessel, designed to be out on the water. It is comfortable, stable, handsome, and clean. I welcome serious inquiries.

2024 6hp Tohatsu Outboard for the motor-well. Under 100 hours.
• 2 seasons on a new sail, plus the original sail that is in good, serviceable condition.
• 22′ single-axle Karavan boat trailer, in excellent condition.
• New 12v system with all new wiring running, new LED lights, including cabin, running, anchor, and masthead lights.
• Pipe insulation encases the wire & antenna cable inside the mast which prevents the slapping of wires on the aluminum mast and ensures silence and just the sounds of being on the water.
• New bilge pump piped to stern outflow.
• New sail-cover (made by the guy who crafts them for the Marshall fleet).
• I installed a stainless steel bow pulpit for security while sailing on Fundy Bay! It looks beautiful and provides the security and comfort I was seeking.
