Our Herreshoff America 18 doesn’t have a bow eye which makes it difficult to get onto the trailer. I’m hesitant to drill through the brass strip on the bow and into the bow interior to insert a conventional bow eye hook. I saw a uniques setup on a Herreshoff Eagle that was two flat piece that bolted through and attached to either side of the flat portion of the bow, just behind the brass strip, with a ring attached to the front of it. It did not look custom made. I wish I had taken a picture of it, but I don’t have one. Does anyone know where I could purchase something like that? Thanks.
